![]() All "additional scaling" is only applied if the additional stat is greater than the one it replaces, so every point use for equipping gear is basically wasted. Now, the questions:Įarly on, gear seems to all rely on main stats which aren't very useful for my builds. Lots of buffs and defense, let the healer, DoTs, and armies do the real heavy lifting. Okay, so that's the basic thought process for what I'm making. ![]() Use Shield Bash for extra CC against enemies impaired by Druid aura, set off oil fires from Demonologist for damage, apply ice coating as needed, etc. Just stand in the middle with multiple fire damage PBAoE, retaliation auras, and easy access to invulnerability. ![]() Abuse Taunt, Frost Shell, synergy skill along with all the buffs from the druid to make a very tanky CC machine. Synergy aura seems weak, but eh, it's an aura too, so I still just kinda do nothing to win.Įvocation / Defensive Arts, INT/CON. It's my fire-and-forgot option, a durable buff machine that makes everyone else much stronger while I do nothing. As far as I can tell, equipment scaling doesn't matter once shapeshifted, so I'm just relying on stats and skill points to have as many auras up as possible. There really isn't anything to know about this one. Also, light magic and demons together is hilarious, and it deserves to exist.ĭruidism / Beguilement, WIL/INT. Also comes with a ton of utility, like the ability to self-resurrect and to turn my tank unit into an explosive. This is the unit I must baby since it self-destructs to attack at close range, but with very high Willpower, I should be able to deal decent damage and healing, replacing ability cost with self-healing and health leech. Use Zeal 3 spec so that my Demonology and auto-attacks all scale from Willpower, meaning I scale all damage and healing up with one stat. I ran through the tutorial and did some testing, and I think I have some grasp of where I want to go. That being said, I also like to do unusual builds for the heck of it - nothing that has a built-in suggestion. I plan to play on Circle Mage, because I'm a glutton for punishment, so I do want to have some decent plans ahead of time. I decided to run through Soul Harvest while it's still on Game Pass, and I have a couple of questions on builds. Scroll down to the next bolded section to see the outcomes. I'm going to include all the answers to the questions I had. I love that the game has stuff like this.//EDIT 3.0: I have now played through the game more than once and have much commentary to add. So, put Lifegiver on just one of your stack and Vampire on all of them and now as long as a single unit survives a battle, all the dead ones revive after the battle and then heal up to full on the next turn. Doesn’t sound so great, right? But wait, Adamantium has an awesome recipe for the Lifegiver IV glyph - This unit and every ally in it’s stack gains: Heals daily to 100% Health. For example, Corrupted Adamantium has a death recipe for Corrupted Glyph: Vampire - Grants: Defy Death (Revives at end of battle), Grants: No Regeneration. There seems to be some very powerful synergies between different glyphs. They crush most enemies and absolutely slaughter undead. ![]() As an aside, I’ve found that having the Holy Weapons enchantment on my archers to be a huge plus. I was able to kill his tier 2 troops with no losses and haven’t seen him since. I sent a hero stack over there and he immediately left the node and attacked them. His stack just went and sat on my small node. The angry orc circle mage hasn’t been a problem for me so far. ![]() I have become completely enamored with it. At 4 hours of play it’s getting its hooks in me.Īccording to Steam, I’m 29 hours into my first game now. I agree with Coldsteel in that the more I play this, the more I like it. ![]()
